Lace Up Back & Mules

Lace-up details may remind us of some Halloween costumes or over-the-top lingerie purchases,but now it has changed. The lace up trend is an elegant way to bring the kind of small yet gorgeous detail typical of “lingerie” into your daily wardrobe without to be overdressed or look inappropriate. We can see this trend not only on clothes, but also on bags and shoes. With a lace-up piece you can transform any boring outfit into a more edgy, sophisticated or sexy one. Depends on how much lace you prefer. Also this trend will take you not only through the summer but also into fall.
This outfit is very chic and minimalistic. I combined my new favourite white lace-up shirt by Xeo XO with a classy black culotte and my lovely mules. The key-pieces in this outfit are for sure the lace-up shirt and the trendy mules, which are totally necessary for this season!
To round up the look I mixed it with a big black fedora hat and a small leather bucket bag.
At the moment I am really addicted to lace-up items. I also have a black lace-up dress, different kinds of lace-up heels and also some shirts. This trend will surely follow me until the next season, because it will allow me, on one hand to stay cool during the still-sunny days of fall and on the other hand it will add some extra warmth on chillier nights. A lace up piece is the perfect companion to both fancier as well as casual items, serving as the statement to an otherwise basic ensemble.
