Six months has already passed and my time here as an intern at Marc O’Polo Headquarters is now over. I can remember when I first enter the building seeing all these new faces and new challenges. Surrounded by many nice people and the little Social Media Team with Marc and Karen, it was just a great time with so many good memories. Of course there were hard times when you are just tired but the moments full of laughs and happiness are unforgettable. I will always remember these people who taught me so much, shared all their experiences and trusted in me and my competences. Besides my working life I had a super cool flat mate. I have never share my apartment with someone else before but this time I had no other choice and it was the best choice I could ever made. She was like a friend, a second mother and also a big sister to me – her name is Angie. She was always there for me when I needed help, always found time to listen to my problems and she was also the funniest gym partner. Even when I am moving back home I know I will meet these people again in my life wherever we will be in the world.
For the last weekend in Rosenheim I planned to go with some friends to Innsbruck in Austria. Because Rosenheim is really close to Innsbruck, it is a perfect day trip destination.
Innsbruck lies about half way between Munich in Germany and Verona in Italy. Located in the broad valley between high mountains and next to the river Inn. The small city has a little Italian vibe, because of the small streets, the cute cafes and Italian restaurants. The weather was super good and this makes the city even more Italian-alike. If you come to visit Innsbruck you don’t need a lot of time to explore the city. We made it in about four hours, strolling around the old quarter, drinking coffee, eating some giant burgers and Italian ice cream. Just walk into the small side streets and you will find a lot of pretty corners. The city is old with alluring, colourful and romantic architecture with squiggly details. If you want to see Innsbruck from above you can check the Bar 360 which is really nice with good drinks and super nice view over the whole city.
