– November 2013 –
After I quit my Internship at the fashion magazine Dep, I was recommended by a Korean friend to go to Rocket Internets fashion venture ZALORA in Ho Chi Minh City to do an Internship as a Campaign Manager. Just because of his help and also because the Art-Director was a German “Vietkieu”, too, I got an Internship at this amazing company! This was one of the steps that changed everything in my life!

The working atmosphere there was amazing, so many nice, young and talented people there. I found a lot of new cool friends and also met “the man of the life” (Insider) , his name is Linh.
The story how we came to know each other is incredible – like a love-movie-fairy tale (…)
All in all… I think it is amazing – life is made out of decisions. With every decision you make your future will be different. Just imagine if I wasn’t strong enough to go to Vietnam, if I didn’t quit at DEP and if I didn’t take the help of this Korean friend… I would have never met this man, all this nice people with whom I finally flew to Singapore !
The Hotel he chose was ParkRoyal … I didn’t know what hotel he booked for us …and so I was super surprised when we arrived at the hotel. I can remember the moment when I sat in the taxi and was totally delighted by this amazing building, such a nice architecture! And then the Taxi driver told me ” Miss, that’s your Hotel.” And I was so shocked … Could not believe that we would stay in such an amazing hotel like this. From the outside it looks perfect, and from the inside even more incredible. The room was small but beautiful with a super nice view over Singapore. The Hotel had everything you wished for, like a swimming pool, sauna, restaurant, bar and a VIP Lobby with food and special service for the whole day ! Really recommend you guys this hotel.
