Hey guys!

Finally, we made it to report you about our latest trip to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Fashion Week is always a great time, with a lot of fun, new experiences, and networking, which is also confronted with some fatigue. After every Fashion Week we are all in need of sleep – too many parties, events and shootings. This time our schedule was filled with a lot of cool events but unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to all side events and shows. In this post, we are giving you a glance of what we did last week.

DAY ONE

For the opening of the Fashion Week we were invited from the online-magazine Styleranking to the “FashionBloggerCafé THE SHOW”. The designers for the show were three big Influencers, Youtuber Ischtar Isik, Patrizia Palme and Blogger Nadine Müller from Shoppinators. The Influencer showed us three different kinds of outfit styles: Business, Casual and Glamourous.
At this event, we met a lot of cool people and also many of our blogger friends. It was really nice to meet all the people there, who are sharing the same passion. There was a lot of good finger food, beauty corners, and also a booth from Lookable where you could immediately create your favorite iPhone case. T. printed one super nice phone case with a photo of Nhi on it. But Nhi didn’t know exactly what kind of motive she should choose so she did not try this out, but well the real reason, Nhi didn´t want to print his face for her case… she is like iceeee! Also the cozy and cute coaches from Sitzfeldt treated us well.
After the show, we just went to a friend’s place, relaxed a bit, went shopping at Voo Store, where we bought our new Acne beanies and then we headed all to dinner at Hasir, a yummy turkish grill-house. With full tummys we were rolling to the Puma Party, where you have to be invited as well, but still there was a really long queue. If we came earlier we would have got some new Puma shoes, but nope we wanted to eat more food and chilled too long at the restaurant haha. So we had to wait around 1hour in the cold but it was worth it. The music was fantastic, hip-hop to the finest and all in good mood. The drinks were free and the party was just out of you mind.

DAY TWO

After the sick night at the Puma party we enjoyed our brunch at Cafe KRONE. The food was just perfect after a good night out! Before heading to the next event we shooted some Outfit photos. Nhi was wearing her new beige J.W.Anderson Bag, with her ripped white mom jeans by Levi’s and her favorite vintage beige coat. T. was wearing his beige Filling Pieces sneakers, a navy parka coat by COS and a cozy beige pullover by Ben Sherman. After a successful shooting we went to the opening store event of Samsoe Samsoe. The atmosphere was mellow and chill, the CEO and designer of Samsoe Samsoe were there, and also some pretty cool actors and models were invited. The drinks were fresh and the collection just super nice. Samsoe Samsoe is based on clean and unique Scandinavian fashion design for women and men. We really love the new collection and the cute store in Bikini Berlin. After this event we headed to dinner with one of Nhi’s best friend to eat some yummy dim sum at Aroma. If you want to enjoy authentic Chinese food this is a good place to be or the restaurant Good Friends is also a good choice for Chinese food, both are on the same street.
After dinner, Nhi just quickly changed her Outfit and we checked out the Lee Party at Prince Charles club. This is a party we actually always go to during Fashion Week. This time was a little bit less crowded than last few years, because on that same day was the Adidas Party as well. During Fashion Week are too many parties, it is really difficult to choose where to go and also to find the last energy to go. The music was a mixure of hip-hop and r&b and the crowd was lit as hell. Always well dressed people and great atmosphere. We party all together until 3am and went to eat some famous curry wurst at “Curry 36”.

DAY THREE

The next day we were really exhausted and tired after two days partying in a row, but still we had to wake up early for a quick shooting with an amazing photographer in Berlin. His name is An Nguyen and you can check out his Instagram here. Soon we will show you the results of this shooting in another blog post! After the shoot we all went to our lunch break at Shiso Burger, which is also one of my favorite places in Berlin. Good crispy sweet potatoes and juicy beef burger mixed with coriander to get an Asian touch. Quickly after lunch, we went to the show of Rebekka Ruetz in the new area – Kaufhaus Jandorf. This is the new Fashion Week area in Berlin. The F/W 17/18 collection with the title „WHATEVER“ is inspired from the 80s and the antimodernism, a sense of dark renaissance. Boundaries were torn and open new forms of experimentation. The silhouettes are puffed up, resolved and take abstract outlines. Rigidity meets delicate beauty. Quiet monochrome leaves room for mixing colors, followed by pleasantly warm and neutral tones. Deep black and rich intermediate colors look intense and ultra-matt, appear with metallic patina. We enjoyed the show very much. The atmosphere at the Kaufhaus Jandorf was a little bit different than the years before – but sometimes things need changes. And it wasn’t that bad as most of the people say. This location is less high class and more industrial chic and I think this is also a good option for the shows. It actually fits good to the Berlin-Vibe.
After the show we checked out the Panorama fair for a while, to check out some new brands.

DAY FOUR

For our last day in Berlin, we had to check our favorite trade show – SEEK. This is the trade show where you can explore cool urban casual brands, from Scandinavian clean designs to streetwear and fancy sneakers to a big range of different accessories. This time we met Native Youth in person and this was incredible. The team is super charismatic, funny and lovely. We spontaneously decided to do a shooting for Native Youth. The photographer was Hendrik, who was also in charge for the Seek behind the scene photos. Native Youth is a young, fashionable brand from London and we are for sure working with them in the future for more awesome collaborations. In July will be the fashion show of Native Youth in London and this would be a great chance to check out the London Fashion Week! We are already so excited. Hope everything will work out well. Because of this spontaneous shoot with Native Youth, we could not make it to the show of Julia Seemann, but we made it luckily to the next show of Steinrohner. Inspired by the purity and protective structures of braids, the edition “SYMBIOSIS” takes on a journey into the aesthetics of pearls and fringes of the glorious 1920s. STEINROHNER transforms braids into fashionable dressing creations. The collection unfolds delicate, noble and plaid designs, laying silky-velvety in mohair, flowing silk velvet, pearls, mesh fabrics with braid applications, elegantly protective around the feminine silhouette and filtering a journey of discovery for the eye on the female body. STEINROHNER lets the color spectrum of the collection appear in a refined interpretation of the autumn and winter colors, which expresses vitality and warming shelter.

Our last destination was the blogger event by Riani at the beautiful Soho Hotel. We love this kind of events because you meet so many inspiring people to connect and the food is always so delicious haha

Berlin treated us well and we will see you soon!
