Layering for Rainy Days

Germany is known for its cold, stormy and rainy weather, and February is the time of year that you really feel the brunt of it. It makes choosing an outfit, which should be comfortable, stylish and still protect you from the rain very difficult. But a stormy and rainy weather doesn’t have to be a downer when you’ve got a bright rain gear to keep you warm and dry. Whether classic, feminine or sweet, there are a few affordable rain coats and jackets to add to your wardrobe. Here is how I choose an outfit for a rainy February day in Germany, one where I feel comfortable and still look cool.
So, I combined my new light olive-green rain coat by Vila with a coated jeans and a white baseball cap. To round up the street style look I wear a pair of my favourite white kicks and a small black backpack. Vila’s raincoat is ideal for this season and practical for any time of the year. Dark and gloomy weather is the perfect opportunity to wear light and punchy colours to brighten the day.
Tomorrow we are heading to Milan for fashion week and we are very excited. This will be our first time attending FW Milan! We are looking forward to the shows and stylish people.
