Danang – Hoi An

The day when I am leaving Ho Chi Minh is almost there. The days in Vietnam passed so fast!
But before I left my homeland Linh had a surprise for me…At the beginning of our relationship some friends of mine went to Danang and Hoi An and they were really impressed about the beauty of these cities. And I asked Linh if that was true what my friends are telling me. That was just a smalltalk which I forgot immediately afterwards. But Linh didn’t forget my words “I want to go there, too”, so that’s why he booked a flight and the best resort in Danang to take me there, before I was leaving Vietnam.
And it was wonderful! This trip was incredible! I enjoyed every moment with him there – my friends didn’t lie, everything was true !
The first day we came to Danang I was really shocked about the beauty of the resort Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, it is kinda new and the location was perfect!
We just left our luggage back in the room and took the next taxi to Hoi An.
Hoi An is not far from Danang, a small city on the coast of the east Sea in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. The buildings are old, in a yellow color and really traditional. The city shows the beautiful and charming heritage of South-East Asia. We spent the whole first day in Hoi An, walking down every small street, playing basketball with some local kids and eating good food. Hoi An’s sandwiches “Banh Mi Thit Pâté” are known for the best Vietnamese sandwiches. Even Anthony Bourdain has to confirm it! 😀
At night Hoi An is really enchanting, because of all these colorful and bright lanterns which are making the night less dark and more charming and romantic. City for lovers <3 So if some cute couples out there want to go to a romantic place – this city is perfect. My personal recommendation!
The next few days we just chilled at the resort. Even though it was winter the beach in Danang was still as beautiful as usual. The waves were bigger, but no reason for us not to go into the water! The resort was on the coast. It has 3 levels, the Heaven, Eden and the Beach. Our room was at the Eden and the view from there was just breathtaking. I will never forget these view and how the damp wind blew over my face, walking on the soft sand while a warm hand holding mine. The resort is really huge, that you also can use a cable car to get to every level. I really enjoyed the time in the SPA there, in the sauna, beach, and everywhere else! This was for sure one of my most gorgeous trips.
So all the gentlemen out there! Just take my recommendation and take your girls to some places like this 😀
