The Human Rights Collection

In the past few months many unfortunate things happened on this planet. Everyday I am hearing bad news and it is continuing to get worse. I just hope everything will have an happy ending soon and we all can live together in peace and as friends. Why do we we have to deal with wars, crisis, terror and epidemic on our small planet? I really wish we all would just try to live together with more love, harmony and tolerance. It doesn’t matter how you look like, where you come from, what you believe in and who you are. In the end of the day we are all human beings, intelligent creatures who should know how to live a good life. Everything sounds so easy – just respect each other and tolerate other cultures and religions, but in the real life it’s so different. It seems to be something really hard to implement. It is important to fight together, to help each other, showing and implementing the human rights,thus alltogether being and staying human.

The “The Human Rights” collection from GILARDY, which was designed in 2015, has a deep meaning and message to us. All GILARDY Jewellery are engrave with a sentence from the Human Rights:

Article 1
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

Article 2
Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.

Article 18
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

I chose the first Article for my little golden ring, which means everything to me. It’s not only a sentence – it’s the way how we all should live together.

For my GILARDY Ring I choose the first article. It’s the shortest one, but it says everything we need to take care of. Those lines are expressing shortly how we all should live together to make the world a better place.
