The mystical Königssee

I never thought Germany would have such a beautiful, fairytale alike place. I am born and raised in Germany and I am living very close to the mountains. I cannot remember when I had ever been to the mountains. I really regret this and I am so happy that my friend Luna asked me to visit the “Königssee” near to my place in Bavarian. I was so stunned about the wonderful and breathtaking scene – the clear turquoise lake which was surrounded by the impressive mountains. I never saw water in this clear, bright blue shining way. The mountains and landscape were reflected on the silent water and the lights of the sun were shining bright like little diamonds on the surface. Surrounded by the beautiful nature I had of course my man next to me. This trip was full of laugher, love and fun. I am happy that I could find some time to arrange this short trip. We started our trip early in the morning and arrived at Königssee at about 10.30 am. Luna and I arranged the food for the picknick and we enjoyed our food before we started our boattour on the big lake. There were so many pretty things to take photos of and the day passed by too quickly. After the boat tour we wanted to go to the top of the mountains. Of course I would never walk this way up and the Jennar cable car would be just perfect. But unfortunately we were too late ( it was 4pm ). So if you guys want to visit Königssee and the mountains, just start with the mountains first before you take the boat tour. We had our dinner at “Biergarten zum Schiffmeister” next to the lake and the food was so so yummy. I really recommend you this restaurant – the steak was fantastic! We actually planned to take one of the small boats to enjoy the romantic sunset on the lake but at this season there were no small boats to rent and so we had to change plans and drove spontaneously to another lake called Chiemsee to watch the sunset. In Bavarian you can find lots of lakes and mountains. We were just surrounded by the nature the whole day. The Sunset was incredible and the day ended with much joy and happiness.
